Over Acieving Again

Weeks, no months after creating the blog... no posts, and then in one day two. Well I have no hope to keep this up, but will try to post at least once a week.

I have a problem... I'm a avid cookbook collecter and have books from which I've never made anything. So my primary chaallenge will be to cook one sweet and one savoury (where applicable) dish from every book I own.

If a food or life adventure/challenge comes up along the way, well then great. but for now, its back to the books.

Ill take the books as they are stacked in my book case and attemt the recipies as they fit my budget - still being a student and not rolling around in money.

So first up... Cooked in the Karoo by Justin Bonello
So the Karoo is a semi-arid region in South Africa where (in my opinion) the best lamb is produced. This being said, many of the recipes in this book calls for lamb... which is notoriously expensive... so finding one that wont break my budget was challenging... but I found one.

So simple and so perfect for the start of the winter... Beef stew.
Keep tuned in to find out how it went!
